In fact, many celebrities and models are wearing pearls about town, to awards shows, and to social events. Model and “it girl” Gigi Hadid has been spotted again and again wearing pearls. Earlier this year, she was seen walking around New York City wearing a pearl choker necklace with a tie dye shirt and white capri pants. She’s also been spotted with a pearl chain attached to her sunglasses and wearing freshwater pearl earrings with a casual, all-black outfit.

At the 2019 Golden Globes, actress Judith Light paired a long wrapped Sidney Garber pearl necklace with a white long-sleeve Christian Siriano gown. The monochromatic look was both dramatic and chic.

Musician Cardi B arrived to the 2019 Grammy Awards dressed as a pearl in a clam shell. A vintage Thierry Mugler design from 1995, the clam shell dress had a dramatic pink ruffle meant to resemble a mollusk shell and pearl details around the waist and neckline.
