Suzanne and Sweet Harper

When I was 16 years old, I started working on Saturdays at a high-end jewelry store in my hometown. They had the most beautiful baby items—baby rings, rattles, lockets. The piece that always caught my eye was the add-a-pearl necklace. I loved the idea of being able to watch the necklace grow over time as the baby grows. I dreamed of having a little girl of my own to buy the necklace for. I now have m y own little girl, and I got her an add-a-pearl for her first birthday last month. I look forward to gifting her the pearls for milestones in her life and to watch her necklace grow as she does—just not too fastJ
